This isn’t therapy. But it might change your life
Dear writer,
I just got off a client call, and I feel like shouting from the rooftops!
In the span of a single hour, this client walked away with:
a new framework for thinking about her larger creative purpose
a clear lead on the next chapter she wants to write for her book
and a deeper sense of self-trust that left both of us a little speechless
This is the kind of thing that happens all the time in my mentorship sessions, and yet every time, it feels a little miraculous.
Because yes, I’m holding a generous, trauma-informed space where my clients can actually hear themselves think…
…But I’m also reflecting things back in ways that forge real, lasting, life-altering connections in their minds.
And I’m also offering strategy, naming patterns, suggesting personalized next steps.
And I’m also being, in all honestly, one of the most active and attentive listeners you might ever meet.
These sessions are not “just” brainstorming. They’re not “just” one-on-one teaching. They’re not “just” space-holding.
They are all these things, plus something else entirely their own…

I’m an ex-social worker, but I’m not a therapist. Yet people constantly tell me these sessions feel therapeutic. Healing.
Clients walk away with clarity, a road map, and a surge of momentum. Their enthusiasm about their own creativity grows, and their dedication to living an artistic, literary life deepens.
I’m not a one-size-fits-all expert. But I do help people hear themselves more fully—and that changes everything.
This work is intimate, intuitive, and personalized. It’s powerful. And in this moment, I feel zero drama about saying so, because I want sensitive writers to know what’s possible.

For a long time, I struggled to describe what I do—especially in the context of small talk, where nuance gets flattened.
I’ve never loved the word “coach,” but I use it (alongside “mentor”) because it helps people find their way to me.
But if you asked me right now what I do, I think I’d just say:
I help people with their creativity.
This feels like the truest and most direct thing about me.
What I want you to know today:
If you’ve been circling the idea of working together—if you’ve been carrying a creative project or yearning or question, and you’re wondering if now is the time to begin—I’d love to invite you into a free consultation call with me.
It’ll be one of the most personalized, generative conversations you’ll experience this season. I promise.
You bring your tangled, tender, brilliant self. I’ll meet you there.
